Darlow Pants Paper Pattern from In The Folds

The Darlow pants are a cropped, tapered pant full of interesting panel lines and details. They have been designed to give a new spin to the basic pant and can be worn as an easy and casual option or dressed up for a nice evening option.

The pants sit on the natural waist and feature a fly front with zip closure, shaped waistband, in-seam pockets, back pockets and hem facings. The Darlow pants are designed to be quite fitted through the waist and hip, before more volume is added through the leg, for an interesting shape.

The pattern was designed for intermediate makers. By working through this pattern, makers will gain confidence in: fitting pants, sewing a fly front, sewing pockets, piecing panels together and attaching a waistband.

The pattern is compatible with mid to heavy weight woven fabrics, such as: linen, linen blends, cotton drill/twill, denim or wool. 

Illustrated instruction booklet guides makers through the making process, from selecting fabric, cutting the garment correctly, achieving a beautiful finish and everything in between - ensuring that nothing is left up to guess work and makers will feel supported and guided through the process of making the garment.
